The shortest day of the year. I have always looked at this day as the start of spring. Every day becomes a little longer and brighter, even if it is about to get colder. This year, Jupiter and Saturn are almost going to line up. The closest they have been in alignment in around 800 years. They call it a Christmas star event. Makes you wonder about all those years. It is also that curiosity that has given rise to the book(s) that are in my head and down on paper. What happened so long ago? How do we portray realistic fiction into far away facts? And how do we get that richness of story writing like Dr. Seuss?
