Jack’s made her final pass through the book, tweaking, asking questions, offering suggestions.
This was about the fourth time.
It takes a lot to prepare a manuscript so that it’s at the point where I’m confident about what I’m sending out.
After rewriting a few ideas it’s easy to overlook a word here and there as we change the context or tense.
She said she’s also noticed herself getting caught up in the story while she was supposed to be proofing it.
Caught up in it – great!
