A series worth your time!

A series worth your time!
One of my favorite things about this series is that each book gets stronger and more interesting as the series progresses. Plus, each book is a different story about the coins (the 30 pieces of silver Judas was given for betraying Christ). While there are some characters who are in every book, there are also plenty of new characters and plot lines. This series could easily be made into a 5 or 10 books and still be interesting. In this episode, we get an insight into the group (“The Order”) who protects the coins, and another organization that also has some of the coins.
I have had the great pleasure of reading this entire series, although each book could be read as stand-alone. The series revolves around the biblical story of Judas and the 30 pieces of silver he was paid to betray Christ. The coins have an evil power to manipulate people and help individuals with bad intentions accomplish their malevolent goals. By design, the coins have been scattered across the globe to keep the full collection out of malicious hands, and individual coins are held by guardians who are a part of a protection society called The Order. In the previous book, we’re introduced to a second group, who also have coins, and an interest in protecting them, although they believe the coins should be consolidated and held safely in one location.

This book includes characters from book one and two, while introducing new ones. It explores the depths of the internal working of the two coin protecting organizations and the motivations behind each group. As the book continues, we learn that not all is as it seems with either of the organizations. The action is well done and plentiful, and the ending is a very satisfying conclusion to the series. Well worth a read!
